On the day of the test is a crucial moment,but don’t think of doing something more and get miracles done on that particular day. All you need to do is keep yourself calm and be cool and wait for the exam.just say to yourself you are going to do the exam well.
1.Remember that the test takes much longer so be prepared for it and be ready to get tired,yes believe me its going to be much tired.so do have some good food to withstand the pressure in the exam hall.
2.check for toilet before exam itself,if you prefer going in between the exam definitely you will get be losing time.every minute is precious in this test,you will accept this fact when you come out of the test.
3.Arrive much earlier to the exam center,check your passport and stationary.
4.Be focussed and keep a positive attitude.
5.Time is a big factor in this test,you can’t just even take one or two minutes more than what is given.Follow the instructions and timing as per the what they tell you.
IN THE EXAM HALL/CENTER:
A VERY STRICT CONDITIONS PREVAIL IN THE CENTER,BE CAREFUL AND OBEY RULES AND CONDITIONS.
1.Its the very first test you are going to face.
2.Read the questions carefully before you listen the recording.
3.Read the instructions carefully,whether they mention two word answers or more or less etc.
4.If at all you get missed an answer during the conversation leave it and move answering further,no more marks will be lost.you can guess the missed one in the last.
5.Answer all the questions for sure,Afterall it doesn’t have any negative or minus marks for for wrong inputs/answers.
6.Make sure you fill all your details correctly in the sections and shade them according to the instructions.
7.Listen carefully to the instructions regarding where,when to use a pen or pencil.
8.While listening to the recording dont get into any disturbances or distraction just ignore everything besides.
9.Note the answers as you listen in your question paper,later you have 10 mins time for transferring the answers.
10.dont talk to anyone,if anyone asks anything ignore them for sure.It is not an exam to copy.
1.Be prepared to take only 1 minute for one question, don’t prolong and make your time short.Questions are often confusing so,leave if you can’t answer one and move to the next and save your time.
2.Remember there is no extra time for transferring the answers,so answer directly on the answer sheet.
3.Read the questions first because if you start reading the whole paragraph then forget about getting bands.
4.Skim and scan the para’s first two lines and last two lines and underline any capital letters,names,numbers,years,etc.
5.For every paragraph write a heading or keyword that best describes the para,for your idea.
6.Always answer the task which carries higher weightage of marks first and later on to the next.
7.Particularly try to understand the whole question and what it means.Underline the keywords but dont leave its wholesome meaning.
8.Try to complete each task exactly exactly exactly withing given/alloted time for each task.You have to stop writing at any cost or its gonna ruin next task time.
1.Writing test consumes hell lot of a time for sure,so be planned what to write which task first and make it fast.
2.Remember the task one is 20 minutes only only only.Dont even try to take a bit more.
3.Time for task two is 40 minutes ,so make it within 30 or 35 minutes and if possible leave a ten or five minutes to recheck the written answers.
4.Words count is a must (An underlength essay ruins he bands),its not advisable to write exactly 150/250 make it 165/265 better.
5.Please count the no of lines but not all the words.
6.Make sure all bullet point are answered in academic or general whatever,see to it that every point is answered relevantly.
7.The last minutes are required to check the spelling mistakes if any.
8.The most important thing to remember in writing is DONT REPEAT THE SAME WORDS/VOCABULARY AGAIN AND AGAIN.Its ok once or twice if its topic word.
1.Answer to the question directly and add some additional information.
2.Don’t speak very little,speak in longer sentences and until they ask you to stop for the next question.
3.During speaking they observe the TENSES correctly so be careful to answer according to the tense.
4.If you make a mistake you can correct it, correction is also scoring according to assessors.
5.If you don’t understand any question just ask them “could you please repeat it “.but not for every question.
6.Greet them before and after the exam with a good false smile.
