LISTENING TIPS

 1.WATCH A LOT OF VIDEOS AND TV SHOWS IN ENGLISH.

2.WATCH THE WAY THEY PRONOUNCE IN SAMPLE VIDEOS OR PREVIOUS TESTS AVAILABLE MUCH ON THE INTERNET SITES.

3.MAKE THE HABIT OF HEARING TO THE AUDIO CLIPS AND IMAGINE THE SCENE SO THAT YOU WILL NOT FORGET WHAT YOU IMAGINE.

4.TRY TO GET FAMILIAR WITH THE ACCENT WITH WHICH THEY SPEAK.

5.TRY TO WRITE THE ANSWER AS YOU LISTEN IN A SHORT FORM OR AN ABBREVIATION FORM SO THAT YOU WILL NOT MISS THE NEXT ANSWER AND SAVES TIME.IF YOU GO ON WRITING LONG ANSWERS THEN YOU MAY LOSE THE CONVERSATION.

6.TRY TO MAKE A GUESS OF ANSWERS SUCH AS MONTH/YEAR/PHONE NUMBERS/NAMES/ADDRESSES/STREETS/TIMINGS/PLACES.

7.REMEMBER THERE WILL BE VERY LITTLE TIME TO READ THE QUESTIONS ,SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL AND READ THEM QUICKLY IF POSSIBLE UNDERLINE KEYWORDS SUCH AS WHEN/WHERE/WHY/HOW ? ETC.

8.IF YOU MISS THE CONVERSATION AT A POINT , NO PROBLEM CONCENTRATE ON WHAT YOU ARE HEARING RIGHT THEN, OTHERWISE YOU LOSE THESE MARKS ALSO.

11.THE UTMOST WORST THING ABOUT LISTENING IS YOU  WILL FORGET WHAT YOU LISTENED JUST NOW.SO SCRIBBLE WHAT EVER YOU FEEL LIKE IS THE ANSWER.

19.THE SPEAKER  MAY USE SOME IDIOMS AT TIMES AND YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT HE EXACTLY MEANT.

20.TRY TO GUESS WHAT THE FORMAT OF ANSWER  WOULD LIKELY BE.
